Sorry not a very clear pic but this is where the earth connects to the body. I have`nt traced the burnt wire from this side of the connecter yet. but it goes around the upper edge of the engine comp. heading for passenger side headlamp. Various wires exit this section of wiring. So will have to take the binding tape off to check the rest of the wires for damage and trace the bad wire too. Here is the multiconnecter This is the offending wire. It comes from a group of black wires, 3 thick ones and some finer ones. As theyre all black I kinda assume the burnt wire was also black. I`m not sure about this though as there was only a little of the charred plastic left. Its either side of the multi-connecter behind the fuel pump.
