Hi - my old back doors (hi-top ldv400) are really on their way out.

Expensive to replace them - (though the Convoy fit I understand).

Has anyone done anything to theirs ? I don't know ... removed them and replaced with wood or marine ply? Anything like that?

Any ideas? pics?

Sounds good - quite like the idea of a metal panel as I've a metal box bolted on holding gas and so on - would work well and gets rid of the problems forever in one go!
I've an inner wooden wall at the back in the van as I've a toilet and shower base and wardrobe back there so I never open those old doors.

Any ideas what that would cost or did you do it yourself?

Don't weld - which is a lack.

But found a pair of Convoy doors in top condition for £50! so well pleased ... now to paint them.
