hi peeps,
I need to set some rules regarding personal signature pictures and avatars, If they are not set then the threads will start to look really untidy and if the pics are too big they can cause the pages to take a while to load depending on peoples connections and where the pic is hosted.

so that said, they are as follows

SIGNATURE SIZES

1st option:

• 1 personal picture signature at maximum 600x100 pixels.
  
• 1 line of 'Normal' size text, Bold if you want.
  
• Total height ~120 pixels

plus one line of text below, normal size

2nd option:

• 1 personal picture signature at maximum 600x80 pixels.
  
• 2 lines of 'Normal' size text, Bold if you want.
  
• Total height ~120 pixels

plus two lines of text, normal size
just like this

3rd option:

• 5 lines of 'Normal' size text, Bold if you want.
  
• Total height ~100 pixels.
  
• (Yes I know this is less then total size of the other options, I just don't want a whole book down there ).

AVATAR SIZE

One option

• 1 personal avatar maximum 100x100 pixels.
  
• Maximum filesize 50kb.

you can obviously have smaller pictures and i think it goes without saying that they should be non offensive ie no porn etc

for those that dont know how to add a signature picture or avatar

1. Find a picture that you want as your signature picture or avatar and save it to your hard drive in my pictures etc
   
2. Go to imageshack or photobucket or similar and upload the picture
   
   
3. once its uploaded you will need to add the link to the hosted picture to your signature block in your profile

if you have a picture thats the wrong size then i will happily edit it for you or create a sig or avatar pic if you give me an idea of what you want.
